How to maintain Sonia Bubić footwear:
The product you bought was created by combining tradition and modern technology, from carefully selected natural leather, where all visible irregularities are actually unique natural characteristics of this material.
Every detail and finish is guaranteed by high-quality control standards, emphasizing dedication to detail and craftsmanship.
To preserve the original quality of the product, we recommend drying it at room temperature after use. Absolutely avoid exposing it to artificial heat sources or washing it in water. Leather can be sensitive to exposure to water, oils, or cosmetic products, which could alter its appearance. In the case of exposure to moisture, you may experience color migration from the darker areas of your shoes onto lighter colored materials.
When the product is not in use, store it in the provided protective case and box, avoiding contact with other leathers or plastic bags.
Daily use of footwear and exposure to various weather conditions can affect the appearance of natural leather. To preserve the product’s look, it is essential to maintain it properly.
PATENT LEATHER
Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For persistant stains, use a slightly damp cloth, but avoid rubbing too hard to prevent damage to the leather surface. Use products specifically designed for patent leather, such as creams and sprays that protect and restore its shine.
If the leather gets wet, dry it with a soft cloth and avoid direct exposure to sunlight or artificial heat sources, as this may cause cracking. Patent leather easily absorbs color from other materials, so avoid contact with them. Never use rough brushes, alcohol, acetone, or products not intended for patent leather.
SMOOTH LEATHER
Remove dust and dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Let the shoes dry at room temperature, then apply a neutral-colored cream and allow it to absorb properly. Never use rough brushes, alcohol, acetone, or products not designed for smooth leather.
CROCO – PRINT LEATHER
Remove dust and dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Let the shoes dry at room temperature, then apply a neutral-colored cream and allow it to absorb properly. Never use rough brushes, alcohol, acetone, or products not designed for croco-print leather.
SUEDE LEATHER
Before first use, apply an impregnation spray for protection against moisture and stains. Apply in a thin layer from a distance of 20-30 cm.
Use a special suede brush (rubber or soft bristles) to remove dust and dirt. Brush in one direction for an even look. For small stains, use a suede cleaning eraser and gently rub until the stain disappears.
Refresh the shoe’s appearance with a neutral spray, then let the shoes air dry at room temperature before the next use. For oily stains, apply baby powder and leave it overnight, then remove the residue with a soft brush.
Suede is not water-resistant. If it gets wet, let the shoes dry at room temperature, then brush them to restore the original texture. Never use rough brushes, alcohol, acetone, or products not intended for suede.
PONY HAIR LEATHER
Regularly remove dirt and dust using a soft- bristle brush, always brushing in the direction of the hair growth. For small stains, use a slightly damp cloth, but never soak the leather.
Never use rough brushes, alcohol, acetone, or products not designed for pony hair leather.
SOLE – BOOTS AND PUMPS

After wearing, wipe the sole with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and dirt, then let it dry at room temperature. Occasionally, treat it with a neutral shoe cream.
SOLE – SNEAKERS
The sole is resistant to external elements and moisture. After wearing, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry at room temperature.
